DOGS FROM THE PAST

BARRENGER MILK THISTLE ::( Autumn ) was a lovely lemon/white girl who we bought from Barrenger kennels for showing and breeding....  she didnt like the showring which was a great shame because she liked meeting people especially children but she decided that she didnt like the showring itself so we didnt push her. Because of her nervous disposition we decided that we did not want a kennel life for Autumn, she has gone to a lovely pet home where she is loved and pampered.

WIDGERWOOD RAISING A STORM; (Lewis ) We wanted to keep  Lewis for ourselves but due to me having to go into hospital for an operation, our good friend Sue Daniel offered to look after him and he went to stay with Sue for a month, after this Sue had fallen for this guy deeply, and asked if she could keep him,. Sue and Lewis attented many shows and qualified for Crufts they have a very special relationship

JAFFA     ( Jaffa ) has gone to a lovely new home he has settled in with Ruth and Ian Settle in Reading. This is the first time they have been owned by a basset ( Jaffa will break them in gently )

HERE ARE PICTURES OF SOME OF THE BASSETS WE HAVE BRED AND OWNED, NOT ALL OUR DOGS LIKE THE SHOW RING AND WE FIND LOVING HOMES FOR THEM AND KEEP IN CONTACT WITH THE FAMILIES THEY HAVE THE REASURANCE THAT WE ARE STILL THERE FOR THEM.
